I looked at treats in stores, but most had strange ingredients I couldn’t even pronounce. I didn’t want to risk his health just to share a snack. So, I grabbed my mixing bowl and started making my own!
At first, it was just a fun way to show him love. I tested simple recipes with fresh, cat-safe ingredients. To my surprise, Blitz loved them—more than anything I’d ever bought! His fur got shinier, and he seemed happier and calmer. Friends with cats started asking if I could make some for them too.
That’s when the idea hit me: what if I made treats for other cats like Blitz? Treats that weren’t just cute and tasty, but also full of good stuff. I turned my tiny kitchen into a test kitchen, learning everything I could about feline nutrition. Eventually, I launched Makin’ Biscuits—a bakery where cats are the customers. And every batch is still made with the same love that started it all!
